The Dallas Cowboys waited until Wednesday evening to land their first outside help in free agency. The Cowboys will give star pass rusher Micah Parsons one of his biggest wishes for the offseason as owner Jerry Jones tries to sell the locker room and fanbase he’s “all-in” for the 2024 season.

The Dallas Cowboys are signing Eric Kendricks

According to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter, the Cowboys are set to sign former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks for the 2024 season. Earlier in the week, it was reported that the 49ers had agreed to a deal with Kendricks.
However, Kendricks chose to play for his former coach with the Vikings, Mike Zimmer, in Dallas. Zimmer is the Cowboys’ new defensive coordinator.

Kendricks was an All-Pro in 2019

Kendricks earned a Pro Bowl appearance and All-Pro honors for his play in the 2019 season. In his nine-year NFL career, he has recorded 1,036 tackles, 18.5 sacks, nine interceptions, and five forced fumbles.
Per Pro Football Focus, the 32-year-old defender earned a 72.3 overall grade for his play last season. He’ll join a Cowboys’ defense whose linebacker group was the soft spot on the team.
