Steph Curry’s Status vs. Wizards Revealed

The Golden State Warriors are hosting the Washington Wizards on Friday night in Jordan Poole’s first game back since the trade. The Wizards are one of the worst teams in basketball, which should allow the Warriors to get another much needed win, but they will still need to bring the right level of focus.

The Warriors have released their injury report for this game, and Steph Curry is not listed, meaning his is available to play. Curry has been complimentary of Poole since the young guard left Golden State, and there is no issues between the Warriors star and his former teammate.
As for how Poole feels about his time in Golden State, there seems to be a level of appreciation for what he and the team accomplished, even if it ended poorly. Poole should receive a nice ovation from Warriors fans in this game, as everyone recognizes how integral he was to that 2022 championship team.

While Poole’s return is a subplot in this game, the Warriors are focused on stacking wins. Beating teams like the Wizards is crucial for a Warriors team that has struggled to find consistency this season. Looking to climb up the standings, Golden State has to capitalize on these games against opponents they should beat. This is certainly one of those games for Golden State.
