The King is beyond ecstatic following his son’s best game of the year at USC

Your Los Angeles Lakers weren’t too happy about the outcome of Monday night’s 108-106 loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Players, coaches, and fans feel like the refs robbed the Lakers on LeBron James’s game-tying three that was ruled a two after review.

The emotions were flowing, especially by James, who was clearly upset and showed it in his post-game interview. However, all that was overshadowed by James when his oldest son, USC guard Bronny James, put up his best performance in his college career on the same evening, scoring 15 points in 20 minutes during an 86-70 defeat to the Oregon State Beavers.

Here’s what James had to say about his son’s performance following the Laker loss.

Bronny recorded a career-high 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting and dished out three assists, and one steal in his fight game of the season. It was his first time hitting the double-digit mark.

James has averaged seven points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 steals in 16.6 minutes of action throughout the season. Bronny was cleared to play by doctors after he suffered a cardiac arrest during practice in July. The 39-year-old James noted that his son is still on a minutes restriction.

We’re glad to see Bronny on the court, playing the game he loves, and, more importantly, we’re happy to see him healthy.

This is only the beginning for Bronny, and we cannot wait to see what else he does in his first year at USC.
