Amid Heartwarming Tribute by the Warriors, Ayesha Curry Follows Husband Stephen Curry to Pay Massive Respect to Dejan Milojević

At the Chase Center, tears poured and a quiet mood enshrouded the Golden State Warriors as they bid farewell to their dedicated assistant coach, Dejan Milojevic. The Serbian coach’s unexpected death from a heart attack devastated the whole organization, but Stephen Curry and his teammates found a way to respect Milojevic’s legacy and celebrate his enormous effect on their lives.

The entire team wore black shirts with the initial “DM” and “Brate”, the arena was draped with the emotional presence of Milojevic’s mourning family; wife Natasa, and children Masa and Nikola, setting the tone for a moving memorial. Stephen Curry, the franchise’s face, addressed the media to give his opinions.

Despite being very emotional, he described the severity of the situation, recognizing the hardship the entire organization had in managing the loss. Curry said, “It was tough, and it’s been a very long week for everybody in the organization. Understanding how we wanted to play, honor, tribute, and celebrate what he meant to our family. Having his family here, you know, giving them this reception from our fans. It’s tough looking over at his chair.”

Partizan Belgrade arranged passionate rituals remembering the late Dejan Milojevic, as they had a special connection with him. They devoted the first half of a recent MIS Adriatic League game to his legacy and the arena was filled with passion as fans flooded in to express their love for Milojevic. His playing experience with Partizan from 2004 to 2006, brought layers of significance to the game as the Partizan was facing Mega.

And Mega was the first team he ever coached due to which the match was an emotional rollercoaster. The atmosphere was filled with both sadness and celebration as Partizan triumphed, highlighting Milojevic’s profound impact on the basketball world. So, as the basketball world mourns, these tributes serve as a tragic reminder of the bonds formed within the sport and the eternal impact that people such as Dejan Milojevic have on the sport of basketball.
