The Jets have had an injury-filled year that started in game one of the season. The Jets’ savior Aaron Rodgers tore his achilles on the fourth play of their first game which sent their season into a spiral.

They gave the keys back to third-year man Zach Wilson to try and save the season.

His year has been up and down all year and his current concussion will keep him out for the game against the Browns. This lines up Cleveland for a battle with third-stringer Trevor Simeon.

The Jets also ruled out tight end Jeremy Ruckert who has 151 receiving yards on the season. They listed kicker Greg Zuerline as questionable and he will be a game-time decision.

Cleveland currently has a greater than 99 percent chance to make it to the playoffs and a win on Thursday will clinch their spot. For the first time all season, they strung together three games and have built some consistency with their offensive attack.

The Browns’ defense has been great all year and has been especially great at home. In the eight games at Cleveland Browns Stadium, the defense is giving up an average of 13.8 points, 87 rushing yards and 135 passing yards.

The Browns have been a resilient bunch all year long.  They have fought through injury after injury and are on the cusp of the playoffs.

A win on Thursday in front of the home crowd gets them into the playoffs, the injured Jets are all that stand in their way.
