Travis Kelce is enjoying life with Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is currently enjoying life with his lover six months after they have gotten public with their romance.

However, being one-half of the most publicized NFL romances in recent years will surely have its fair share of detractors. One can say that it’s part and parcel of being a famous couple.

However, Kelce’s ex-girlfriend insisted that Taylor Swift’s man isn’t as wholesome as he presents himself to be. She warned her that he would always be a problematic cheater. However, NFL fans who loved the couple were quick to dunk on her.

According to Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, she wanted the Cruel Summer singer to know that she’s dating a man who tends to cheat. She believed that it was her duty to let her know about the risks of dating the Kansas City Chiefs star.

Fans were immediately quick to turn on her, saying that she was only jealous of how good her ex is having it. Per The Spun’s Andrew Holleran:

“I wish her the best of luck but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart…Once a cheater, always a cheater,” Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Maya Benberry, said.

NFL fans aren’t really buying it, though. Many think the ex-girlfriend is just jealous.

“Jealousy’s the ugliest trait,” one fan wrote.

“Relationships can be tricky, but everyone deserves a chance to grow and change. Wishing both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift happiness and success in their own journeys,” one fan added.

“She’s just bitter,” one fan added.

“She’s just jealous,” another fan wrote.

“Did she tell the other women he dated after her that? If the answers no then she is just jealous,” one fan added.

How will Travis Kelce show out for the Kansas City Chiefs next season?
The Kansas City Chiefs will be counting on Kelce again to carry them offensively through the 2024 season. While they have made strides in free agency, it’s undeniable that he’s still a major part of what makes the Kansas City offense click.

Last season, the 34-year-old tight end caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns. He was also indispensable during the Chiefs’ improbable run to Super Bowl LVIII.

Patrick Mahomes will be looking his way for much of the games this season as well, and fans will be hoping that nothing goes awry with his relationship with Swift when the season finally kiks off.
