Kansas City Chiefs: Stephen A. Smith’s Perfect Reaction To Howard Stern Suggesting Travis Kelce Should Marry Taylor Swift

Entertainment personality Howard Stern thinks Travis Kelce will have an amazing post-football career if he marries Taylor Swift. In a powerful response, though, Stephen A. Smith believes the Kansas City Chiefs star has a bright future ahead of him after football regardless of his relationship status.

That doesn’t mean Smith doesn’t want Kelce and Swift to end up being together. But for Stern to suggest that the Chiefs tight end needs a successful partner to have a post-football career is undermining what Kelce has done and accomplished in his career, so Smith made sure to share his thoughts on the matter.

“Travis Kelce has to marry Taylor Swift,” Stern said, which drew a “why?” from Smith.

The former America’s Got Talent judge then continued, “He will then get a movie career, he’ll be bigger than the Rock.”Ezoic

After hearing Howard Stern’s statement, Stephen A. Smith went on to defend Travis Kelce and emphasized that while it’s a fair point from Stern, it’s not really entirely accurate.Ezoic

“He’s a good looking dude. He’s got style, he’s got skills, he’s got a future in this business right here once he retires from football—I’m here to tell you that. Because he’s got the look, he’s got the style, he’s got the stature, he’s got the pizzazz. He’s the total package,” Smith shared.

It’s hard to argue with Smith’s remarks here. Kelce isn’t getting a lot of credit for the work he has put on and off the field. But as Stephen A. said, the Kansas City Chiefs star is set for the future and has everything in place when it’s all said and done.

Is Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Retiring Soon?

Interestingly, Howard Stern and Stephen A. Smith’s conversation about Travis Kelce’s future comes amid rumors that the Kansas City Chiefs star could retire at the end of their season.

According to NFL reporter Michelle Tafoya, Travis could join his brother Jason Kelce in calling it a career following this campaign.Ezoic

“I think Travis Kelce is retiring after this season like his brother, so I think there’s just a ton of motivation there for … I think they’re highly motivated,” Tafoya said during her interview with Marc Ryan of CBS Sports Radio.

Now it remains to be seen if there is any truth to the retirement rumor. But if Travis really decides to call it a career, he certainly won’t be lacking in options on what he can do next.
