Watch: Raiders HC Antonio Pierce sends message to rival Chiefs ahead of Super Bowl LVIII

In only three days, the Kansas City Chiefs will play in Super Bowl LVIII on the Las Vegas Raiders field, Allegiant Stadium, much to the chagrin of head coach Antonio Pierce, who sent a message to the rival at Thursday’s NFL Honors.

When asked about the circumstances, Pierce basically told the Chiefs not to let the door hit them on the backside on the way out.

“I’m glad they get to see it for one day. Then they can get the hell out,” Pierce said.

Pierce’s stern response shouldn’t be surprising. After having the interim tag stripped away and earning the full-time head-coaching gig with the Raiders, he’s walked the walk and talked the talk.

Recently, Pierce shared lofty goals for himself, saying he wanted to be among the franchise’s “Mount Rushmore” of head coaches. Furthermore, he also shared dreams of bringing a Lombardi Trophy back to Raider nation.
