Darren Waller recently sparked some rumors that he and his wife Kelsey Plum are headed for a split, but the New York Giants tight end says he was just messing around on social media.
Waller shared a video on TikTok earlier this week in which he was mouthing the lyrics to a remix of a breakup song. He captioned the video “When ya girl bout to leave you” with a laughing/crying emoji. In the description, Waller wrote “Stay strong kings!!! #fyp #explore #men #heartbroken #music #vibes.”
Waller has since deleted the video, but you can see it below:
Waller and Plum, who plays for the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, got married last year. Though his video may have made it seem like there is trouble in paradise, Waller told TMZ on Tuesday that everything is fine between him and Plum.

The 31-year-old Waller said he was just having some fun with a mix of the song “Think it Over” by The Delfonics” and is surprised by the way many people interpreted the clip.
Waller and Plum met when Waller was playing for the Las Vegas Raiders. Plum even cracked a savage joke after Waller was traded last year. The marriage is not on the rocks, at least according to Waller.
