EXCLUSIVE: Brittany Cartwright Planning For ANOTHER Child As She Gushes Over Ex

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor may have avoided each other at the premiere party for their new show – but the Vanderpump Rules star revealed she is still ‘very much’ in love with her ‘handsome’ husband as she discussed plans for another child.

The reality TV couple, who have two-year-old son Cruz, announced their split last month after nearly five years of marriage, with Brittany claiming she took the decision for the ‘sake of [her] mental health.’

The mom-of-one, 35, moved into a rental home in Sherman Oaks, California – but she’s clearly not finished with the businessman for good, as she told DailyMail.com that she still fancies Jax, 44, and is currently trying to ‘figure out’ if she wants them to reunite.

Speaking at the premiere party for The Valley, she said: ‘I feel like I see Jax across the room and I’m like, “He looks so handsome.” I still love him very much. It’s a hard time, right? It’s still fresh, so yeah, it’s still fresh.

‘I don’t even know what it would mean for somebody to capture my heart now. I think it just is like, I don’t know. It’s too early to even think about.’

She continued: ‘I am still living in an AirBNB. Still taking my time for myself, trying to figure out what I want to do, if I want to go back into that relationship or if I decide I want to do something else.

‘And I never, ever, ever thought I would get to that point because I have literally been Jax’s ride or die.’

Brittany previously reconciled with Jax in 2017 after it was revealed that he had cheated on her with their costar Faith Stowers.

She said she ‘stuck by him’ through their tumultuous times but said continuous fighting in front of their young son was the final straw for her to break away.

‘Everybody knows that he did me dirty so many times and I still stuck by him,’ she said. ‘But after having my son, I think it woke me up a little bit and made me realize what I deserve and what he deserves.

‘And a happy home is more important than trying to constantly make things work. Cruz doesn’t deserve to see his parents fighting. That’s not okay. And Jax is a great dad. He’s just not a great husband.’

She continued: ‘And I’m not perfect either. I was turning into a bitchy Brittany, which I’m not, because it was just every single thing that he was doing was annoying me, making me mad.

‘We were just fighting constantly, and that’s why I noticed and because of my son, I realized that’s not okay.’

When asked if she would like a sibling for Cruz, with or without Jax, she replied: ‘Oh, for sure. Yeah. One more. One more probably.’

Brittany was speaking at last week’s premiere party for upcoming Bravo series, The Valley, which was held at Jax’s bar in Studio City on Thursday night.

The former couple avoided each other, only coming together when it was time to shoot official press photos, before going back to keeping their distance.

Brittany spent the night with her girlfriends, including co-stars Kristen Doute and Michelle Lally, as well as her publicist Lori Krebs, and comedian Heather McDonald.

Jax hung out with executive producer Alex Baskin, Bachelor In Paradise’s Wells Adams, and some of his former Vanderpump Rules castmates including Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval.

Speaking about his marriage, Jax told DailyMail.com: ‘We are separated. I don’t want to dive too much into this. I’m going to tell you right now that we’re separated.

‘Our main concern is our son. And taking care of him and making sure that he’s got two happy parents. We have businesses together and that is just basically all I want to say.

‘I don’t know what the future holds. Every day is new right now, but yeah, that’s about it. That’s exactly all I had to say about that.’

Jax’s castmates on The Valley defended the reformed lothario against cheating allegations, with Zack Wickham insisting: ‘I can tell you he is one hundred per cent not cheating.’

Kristen added: ‘I’m with Jax and Brittany literally almost daily and I’ve never heard anything. I’ve never thought that – and I’d be the very first person to call him out if I thought so.’

Brittany and Jax started dating in 2015, two years before he admitted to infidelity.

But they stayed together and got engaged in 2018, married in June 2019 and welcomed their son Cruz in 2021.

They remained together until last month, when Brittany revealed that she had separated from her husband during an episode of the their podcast, When Reality Hits.

The Valley is their long-awaited return to the Bravo universe. It premieres tonight.
