How Far Does Sydney Gordon Go On The Bachelor Season 28? (Spoilers)

The Bachelor season 28 contestant Sydney Gordon has been at the center of some major drama, but will Joey Graziadei look past that and propose to her anyway? Sydney has emerged as a villain on the season since she began her mission to expose Maria Georgas as a “mean girl” and a bully. However, Maria hasn’t done anything wrong. When Madina Alam expressed concerns about being older than Joey, Maria told another contestant that Madina should embrace her age because she’s a beautiful woman. However, Sydney overheard that conversation and misinterpreted it as Maria speaking badly about Madina behind her back.

The Bachelor Season 28 Contestant Sydney Gordon Meeting Joey Graziadei

Throughout the past two Bachelor season 28 episodes, Maria has tried to smooth things over with Madina and Sydney. Madina seemed to have agreed that they should put an end to the drama, but Sydney has been relentless. She even told Joey that Maria was a bully, so he confronted Maria about it. Maria said that she’d been bullied her whole life, and she definitely wasn’t bullying anyone. Many of the other women privately said that Maria wasn’t a bully as well. The previews for The Bachelor season 28 reveal that Sydney and Maria will go on an infamous two-on-one date with Joey. Will this be the end for Sydney?

Who Is Sydney Gordon?

The Bachelor Season 28's Sydney Gordon

Sydney is a 28-year-old vintage store owner from Newport, Rhode Island. According to her ABC bio, she currently has her dream job, and her life is very full, but she’s ready to find her “forever person.” She hopes to leave The Bachelor season 28 engaged to Joey because he checks a lot of her dating boxes. Sydney would book a same-day international flight, and just leave. She hopes to find a man who is as adventurous as she is. In addition, Sydney has lived in Thailand, where she was an English teacher.

What Happens On Sydney & Maria’s Two-On-One Date With Joey?

According to Reality SteveJoey eliminates Sydney on the two-on-one date with Maria in Malta. Therefore, they didn’t get engaged. Reality Steve revealed that Joey believed Maria over Sydney, and so he chose to say goodbye to Sydney. In The Bachelor season 28 episode 3, Joey admitted that he thought that how Maria spoke to him sounded more real than how Sydney did.

Sydney’s behavior on The Bachelor season 28 has been so extreme that it sometimes seems as though she might be a producer plant, added to the show to create drama. It’s no surprise that the producers forced Maria and Sydney into a two-on-one date with Joey. Sadly, on these dates, the Bachelor usually ends up playing referee more than he has the chance to get to know the women who could become his future wife. Unfortunately for her, on The Bachelor season 28, Sydney chose to focus on the drama with Maria rather than her relationship with Joey, and it seems that she was eliminated because of it.
