The Dallas Cowboys have been awfully quiet this offseason and watched a bunch of quality players leave town. The Cowboys have seen Tyron Smith, Tony Pollard, Tyler Biadasz, and others sign elsewhere.
Meanwhile, they have only added Eric Kendricks to the defense. There are holes on the roster and the Cowboys aren’t doing much to improve it.
Per Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz, the Cleveland Browns are signing RB D’Onta Foreman.

Dallas News: Cowboys Watched RB D’Onta Foreman Sign Elsewhere Instead of Stepping In
The Cowboys have a clear need at tailback but haven’t done anything yet to improve that group. Foreman isn’t a star but he’s a quality, low-cost option that Dallas should have explored.
The Texas product is a power runner and can make one cut to quickly get upfield. Foreman has played for the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, and the Chicago Bears.
In every location, the 27-year-old has been an effective ball carrier. In his six-year career, Foreman tallied 2,326 rushing yards, 342 receiving yards, and 17 total scores.
Foreman can handle a heavy workload and that’s been on display. Since 2022, the 2017 third-round pick has logged 80-plus rushing yards in eight games with at least 16 carries.
The Cowboys should have been real players for Foreman’s services but they ultimately decided to pass.
Despite the lack of moves in free agency, Dallas has one of the best rosters in the NFL. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Cowboys have the fifth-highest odds (+1300) to win the Super Bowl. If you like these odds, head over to FanDuel Sportsbook and take advantage of your sign-up bonus.
