LeSean ‘Shady’ McCoy is not hopeful that the New York Jets will make it to the playoffs despite Aaron Rodgers coming back to the team, following a long injury layoff, suffering an Achilles Tendon injury. This season, the Jets have done enough shopping to strengthen the team.
The Jets have bagged the likes of Tyron Smith who is known for providing a massive boost to his quarterbacks in his former franchise. Now, the latest inclusion is Mike Williams who was released by the Los Angeles Chargers and signed a deal worth $15 million.
Williams had poor consecutive seasons in the Chargers colors as he was primarily down with injuries. However, he has maintained himself as one of the big-bodied WRs. Hence, this season, it is expected that the Jets’ offense which was a laggard last season will perform well in the coming season.
However, not everyone thinks that the Jets’ offense is ready enough to make a threat to the opponents. In the latest episode of the show Speak, LeSean McCoy stated:
We always talk about Aaron Rodgers, always talk about so great he is. We always whisper his name with the greats like Joe Montana, Patrick Mahomes, and Tom Brady. We should not do that. He does not win like them. He does not win championships like them. He is not on the same level. All his new weapons, all his new weapons, We do not see results. LeSean McCoy said
Injuries might be a major cause for concern for the New York Jets
If anything can bother the Jets team and their recent squad then it has to be the injury concern and a rather ageing squad. The Jets have a 40-year-old quarterback flanked by players who are in their thirties. Tyron Smith, despite being one of the greatest OTs of all time with eight Pro Bowls and five All-Pros is 33. At this age, it can be difficult for him to protect Rodgers from threats by opponents.
The Jets made some good moves this offseason but @CutOnDime25 still isn't a believer.

In addition to the age factor, both Tyron Smith and Mie Williams missed a lot of games due to injuries. Smith missed more than 30 games due to injuries and Williams had a torrid time with his fitness in the last two seasons.
With the growing age and injury concerns, it is to be seen whether the medical team manages to keep everyone fit in the next season. However, there is quite a long way to go before the drama unfolds.
