Micah Parsons asserts he is faster than ‘cheetah’ Tyreek Hill.

Confidence is one thing that Micah Parsons has oozing out of his body language. The fact that Parsons can go on air and say he is faster than Tyreek Hill is proof enough that when it comes to covering one of the most dangerous wide receivers in the league, he will be up for the challenge.

"I gotta deal with this s**t!" Cowboys' Micah Parsons asserts he is faster than 'cheetah' Tyreek Hill ahead of much-anticipated Dolphins game

The Dallas Cowboys All-Pro Linebacker will get his wish come true when they travel down south to Hard Rock Stadium to face the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Day. Both sides are locked in a 10-4 record for 2023 and will be fighting to gain some momentum for post-season football.

Parsons, on Thursday after the Cowboys practice, asserted that he would be ready to take on Hill at any given moment on Monday night. He said, as per the Athletic’s Jon Machota,

Tyreek knows I am faster than him. [But] it’s not fun at all when you’re getting ready to go against someone like Tyreek Hill because I know I have to run faster than I ever have all year. It’s fascinating to watch it, but when you’re actually playing in it, it’s like, ‘Ahh damn, I gotta deal with this sh*t now, damn.’ But it’s cool.

Will Tyreek Hill play against the Dallas Cowboys?
As mouth-watering as the clash between Hill and Parsons sounds, football fans may not even get to witness the heavyweight clash. The 29-year-old missed the Dolphins Week 15 win over the New York Jets because of an ankle injury he picked up in the Titans game.

Even after missing one full game, Hill currently leads the league in receiving yards with 1,542 and has also scored 12 touchdowns. He will be itching to get back on the field to face an opponent like the Cowboys. According to the Miami Herald, he practiced for the first time on Thursday since the injury. He was fine when running at full speed, but had trouble shifting gears when trying to slow down.

The Dolphins’ head coach, Mike McDaniel, revealed that it was not an indication of Hill’s availability for the Dallas game and said,

It’s more of us just trying to make sure we have all cylinders going.
As far as the rematch of the fastest man is concerned, Micah Parsons is uncertain that it will happen this season. As per Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, he will not be participating in the Pro Bowl.

I don’t plan on being in the Pro Bowl. Maybe Tyreek. I plan on spending my time here getting ready for something bigger. The rematch is whenever it is set and date.

There’s a debate about which team between the Cowboys and the Dolphins requires the win more. In retrospect, both teams need the victory to boost their confidence. However, upon close viewing, nothing less than a win for Miami will be a massive disappointment. Unlike the Cowboys, they haven’t yet qualified for the playoffs and still have a chance of missing out entirely, despite their positive record.

In the AFC playoff picture, there are 4 teams with an 8–6 record and 2 teams with a 9–5 record. After Dallas, they will still need to play against the Baltimore Ravens away. And they close out the regular season by welcoming the Buffalo Bills, who are one of the chasing teams. So beating the Cowboys becomes essential for Tyreek Hill and Co.
