Micah Parsons is facing a troubling truth in 2023

Micah Parsons, also known as one of the best and most disruptive defenders in the league is earning a different title this year.

Micah Parsons: The man who is never held.

This example from the Dolphins game is just the latest in a baffling streak of the star player receiving unfair treatment.

Micah Parsons is facing a troubling truth in 2023

He is so good at his craft, and he makes offensive linemen look awful on a regular basis, it seems NFL referees are establishing a new set of rules.

Nothing is holding when it comes to containing Micah Parsons. And people are starting to take notice.

Indianapolis Colts’ legend and former interim coach, Jeff Saturday, had this to say when Micah Parsons became the topic of discussion.

This is the sad reality Micah Parsons faces right now.

Parsons hasn’t drawn a holding call for nine consecutive games. And yet every week there are multiple clips and pictures on Twitter/X of him being held, and there is no flag.

Saturday’s statement is painfully accurate.

Coaches should be telling their players to hold Micah Parsons, because NFL officiating has established that they aren’t going to call it.

When you become so dominant at your craft you get a target painted on your back. Micah’s target has never been bigger as it seems people who can very well dictate the outcome in games have made it their mission to give him an unfair playing field.

The Cowboys only have two games left in the regular season, then of course there are the playoffs. All hope is not lost as there remains a chance they can still win the division.

Although if the referees continue their crusade against Micah Parsons, the quest to win the division title will be even harder.
