New York Jets: Aaron Rodger Officially Out of Campaign Trail as Robert F. Kennedy Announces 2024 Running Mate

Many New York Jets fans feared Aaron Rodgers would be distracted from the NFL season as he was tipped to be a sudden running-mate for one of the fringe candidates of the 2024 presidential elections.

However, things have suddenly turned as he’s now suddenly out of the running. While this sudden development will not stop him from making outrageous claims about things outside of football, it would definitely help him focus better on the upcoming season.

New York Jets: Aaron Rodger Officially Out of Campaign Trail as Robert F. Kennedy Announces 2024 Running Mate

Aaron Rodgers to focus on football after Robert F. Kennedy announced new running mate
According to Jets Country’s Mike Fisher, the controversial quarterback will not have his focus split as Robert F. Kennedy decided to go on a more traditional route when it comes to his running mate:

Word now is that Kennedy’s actual vice presidential choice is California attorney Nicole Shanahan … this coming after a PR-minded tease from Kennedy himself that his running mate is “not anyone people have been talking about.”

And because, following a New York Times “scoop” that pinpointed Rodgers and former Minnesota governor, WWF wrestler and actor Jesse Ventura as Kennedy’s top options? Yes, Rodgers is very much who “people have been talking about.”

When it comes to the American political arena, Kennedy is nothing short of an underdog compared to the heavyweight contenders being backed by the country’s two major parties. His attempts at making Rodgers his running mate may have been a ploy of his to get voters to talk about him and his plans for America.

Will Rodgers be able to step up for the New York Jets?
Rodgers will have a lot of making up to do if he’s going to become the QB the New York Jets hoped he would be.

He finished his first year with the Jets in brutal fashion after an injury during the first drive of the season sidelined him. Despite his attempts to get back on the field, he wasn’t able to play any more last season.

His game will be talked about as much as his politics and personal opinions, and the only way he can make them shut up is by playing fantastic football.
