Real Madrid signed Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea during the summer and it looks like they could now bring in one of his former team-mates.
The Spanish giants are set to be without Vinicius Junior for a while because of injury and are seemingly ready to enter the transfer market as a result.
According to Sport, Real Madrid are considering bringing in a new attacker on loan after losing Vinicius.
And one option the outlet says the La Liga side are now weighing up is RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner.
Chelsea and their former manager Thomas Tuchel allowed Werner to rejoin Leipzig last year, but he is having a difficult time at the club right now. This season, he has made just two starts in the Bundesliga.
Chelsea were right to sell Timo Werner
Things are not going well for Werner at this moment in time, while his Chelsea career did not have too many bright moments either.
Werner did, of course, help the Blues to win the Champions League during his first season at the club. And some of his performances in that competition were pretty good, with the 27-year-old actually managing to score against Real Madrid on two occasions.

However, Werner failed to deliver in the Premier League, netting just four times in the 2021/22 campaign.
Since his exit, Chelsea have brought in a lot of attackers, including the likes of Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson.
Jackson, who Chelsea believe has a bright future, has already surpassed Werner’s tally from the 2021/22 Premier League season after scoring six goals in 11 appearances this term.
It is a shame that things did not work out for the Germany international at Stamford Bridge and that he is now struggling at Leipzig. But it looks like he could be given the chance to revive his career at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
