Here’s one glaring sign that Russell Wilson doesn’t anticipate sticking with the Broncos for much longer. The quarterback now is accepting offers on his Denver home, the one he shares with wife, Ciara, the R&B star.

Wilson bought the mansion in 2022, back when he left Seattle to quarterback the Broncos. The move certainly didn’t work out the way he thought. And here’s what’s so unique about the house. It was the most expensive one ever sold in the Denver area when Wilson and Ciara paid $25 million. The sale beat the old record by a whopping by $9 million.

The home sits on five acres and features four bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. Wilson and Ciara each have a a walk-in closet, with offices and bathroom suites. The mansion extras also sound fabulous. There’s a 2,590-square-foot indoor swimming pool, plus a basketball court. And the Wilson’s also treat their guests like family. Visitors have their own apartment complete with a kitchen.

According to Business Den, the couple also is scheduling tours of the mansion for potential buyers.

Sean Payton said this week QB discussion for 2024 includes Wilson. Apparently Wilson doesn’t think so

The way the Broncos season ended seemed to indicate that Wilson wasn’t in the plans for 2024, no matter the cost. But since then, coach Sean Payton has added some confusion to the Wilson situation.

Payton told radio host Rich Eisen that the Broncos quarterback “discussion has to include Russ. … He wants to be back. And so, that means something. But we’ll see.”

What Payton did in December also meant something. He benched Wilson with two regular season games remaining in favor of backup Jarrett Stidham. Whatever happens, the Broncos still owe Wilson a hefty paycheck. The team already must pay Wilson his 2024 salary. That’s $39 million. But if Denver cuts Wilson on or before March 17, the Broncos won’t owe him $37 million in injury guarantees for the 2025 season. Reports last fall suggested that Denver wanted Wilson to defer those injury guarantees. However, Wilson said no and then Payton benched him.

The Broncos also will be without more than just money. In trading for Wilson in 2022, Denver sent Seattle two first-round draft picks and a pair of second rounders.

Oddsmakers have established the Steelers as the favorite to land Wilson.
