RHONY alum Jill Zarin vows she will NEVER return to the Real Housewives franchise and says she felt ‘set up’ on the show – as Bravo faces multiple lawsuits from ex cast members

Real Housewives of New York veteran Jill Zarin says she will ‘never’ return to the franchise.

The 60-year-old appeared on The Rick and Kelly Show on Patreon with Kelly Dodd and Rick Leventhal this week, where she compared Bravo’s programming to ‘gotcha TV’.

‘I will never do gotcha TV again, EVER!’ she vowed. ‘People say, “You will go back to Housewives.” Never ever.’

She continued, ‘I will say it right here, exclusive: I will never do gotcha TV again – I call it gotcha TV.’

When Kelly asked her to explain what ‘gotcha’ means, Jill responded, ‘Meaning like, they got ya – it happened to you and me all the time. You’d feel like you were set up.’

The dictionary definition of ‘gotcha’ is, ‘an instance of publicly tricking someone or exposing them to ridicule, especially by means of an elaborate deception’.

Reflecting on the interview on her YouTube channel, Kelly, who appeared on five seasons of the Real Housewives of Orange County, said, ‘I felt like I was set up.’

She explained, ‘My first season at the ’70s party, they got these girls to say I was having an affair on [ex-husband] Michael [Dodd].’

She starred in the first four seasons before exiting the series, but she returned to Bravo years later for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club in 2022.

Despite her disillusionment with the Real Housewives franchise, Jill is set to appear in an upcoming episode of Bravo’s Below Deck.

A trailer for season 11 of the yachting series shows Jill complaining about the food on board and telling the crew to ‘make it better’.

She will also be seen in Amazon Freevee’s The Goat, which features ex reality stars competing to be crowned the greatest reality star of all time.

Jill’s controversial comments come as Bravo faces of a slew of lawsuits from former cast members, including Leah McSweeney, Rachel Leviss, and Brandi Glanville.

Former RHONY star McSweeney, 41, is suing the network and Andy Cohen, 55, for alleged discrimination and a hostile work environment, and claims a ‘rotted’ work culture pressured cast members to consume alcohol, causing her to relapse.

She also accused Cohen of ‘engaging in cocaine use with Housewives that he employs’.

A rep for Cohen told Dailymail.com that ‘the claims against Andy are completely false’ at the time and a letter from Cohen’s attorneys obtained by TMZ urged McSweeney to retract her ‘categorically false’ allegations or face a lawsuit.

Cohen’s attorneys have said everything McSweeney claimed in the lawsuit is false and added on the cocaine claim: ‘[We] demand that you immediately retract and withdraw all allegations relating to Mr. Cohen’s purported ‘cocaine use.'”

‘To be clear: these allegations are categorically false. Mr. Cohen never used cocaine with any cast member on any Real Housewives show or with any other Bravo employee. The absence of any reasonable basis to make such allegations is confirmed by your pleading itself.’

His attorneys point out there are no details included in the allegation and claim McSweeney made the explosive claim ‘just to get headlines and a quick payday.’

A source close to McSweeney told the publication that she is ‘flabbergasted’ that Cohen keeps bringing attention to the case in the press ‘rather than just letting it play out in court.’

McSweeney appeared on two seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City in 2020-2021, and on a season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, which aired last year.

Last month, former Vanderpump Rules star Rachel Leviss, 29, filed to sue both Tom Sandoval and his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix for revenge porn, eavesdropping, invasion of privacy and inflicting emotional distress following last year’s ‘Scandoval’ drama – which saw the reality star exposed for cheating on Madix with Leviss.

In the lawsuit, Leviss – formerly known as Raquel – accuses Sandoval of ‘secretly recording their private communications and… capturing sexually explicit footage… without her knowledge or consent.’

She also claims Madix ‘distributed, disseminated, shared, and publicized the illicit videos intentionally’ after finding them on Sandoval’s phone.

Bravo, NBCUniversal, Andy Cohen, and producers who work on Vanderpump Rules are not named in the lawsuit, but are mentioned frequently.

Meanwhile, Brandi Glanville’s attorney recently claimed she was ‘used and abused by NBC, Bravo, Warner Bros., and Shed Media’ as they accused the network of ‘hiding evidence’ that would clear her name in an explosive new legal letter threatening a lawsuit.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 51, has decided to ‘wage a public reputational war’ against the network after they ‘silenced’ her in the wake of sexual assault allegations made against Glanville by her Ultimate Girls’ Trip costar Caroline Manzo.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 62, made headlines in 2023 when she alleged that Glanville kissed her without consent and even ‘forced her vagina against her back’ during filming of the Housewives spin off show in Morocco.

In January, Manzo, 62, officially filed to sue Bravo over her claim that production encouraged Glanville to sexually harass.

Now, in a legal demand, Glanville’s attorney’s appear to suggest Manzo is lying, insisting no assault took place, as they demand the network release to them ‘all existing documents and data’ pertaining to the accusations.

In a statement shared with DailyMail.com, attorney Bryan Freedman called for other ‘victims’ of Bravo and NBC to reach out to their team and join the ‘fight’ against the network.
