After losing Russell Wilson to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Denver Broncos have a gaping hole in the quarterback room, so they are not expected to do much in the 2024 NFL campaign, especially since Jarrett Stidham is likely to be their Week 1 starter.
In this free agency period, the Denver Broncos have passed on opportunities to sign the likes of Jacoby Brissett, Joe Flacco, Baker Mayfield, Mac Jones, or Kirk Cousins, among others, so the team seems to be looking ahead.

And if rumors are to be believed, the Denver Broncos could look to tank for top quarterback prospect Shedeur Sanders from Colorado, who will be eligible as soon as the 2025 NFL Draft.
Why the Denver Broncos should keep an eye on Shedeur Sanders
Shedeur Sanders should not only be known as the son of NFL icon Deion Sanders because he has proven to be a capable quarterback. In his first season with the Colorado Buffaloes, the younger Sanders threw for 3,230 yards for 27 touchdowns and three interceptions for a 69.3 completion percentage.Ezoic
If Shedeur Sanders declares for the 2025 NFL Draft, he will be among the top quarterbacks of the class, along with the likes of Texas’ Quinn Ewers and Georgia’s Carson Beck, to name a few. However, he said before that he would be the best in his class.

“I’m biased, but I don’t see a quarterback that’s better than me. I don’t see a quarterback that went through as much adversity as me, that had four different OCs in four years,” said Sanders. “Coming from an HBCU, coming to a Power Five program, having real pressure on me.”
“A lot of people don’t understand, that’s a lot more adversity than you think, just even being the son of Deion Sanders. You put any of those guys in my situation, they’re not doing that,” he added.

Getting Shedeur Sanders, who already has a flamboyant personality like his dad Deion, sounds like a good move for the Denver Broncos to consider because the Colorado Buffaloes signal-caller has the potential to be the face of the franchise.
