Sydney Gordon Accuses The Bachelor Of Giving Her A Bad Edit Ahead Of Women Tell All Special

The Bachelor season 28’s villain Sydney Gordon is fighting back against the editing of the series, explaining she feels she was given a bad edit ahead of the Women Tell All special. Sydney, a 28-year-old vintage store owner from Rhode Island, has been shown as an instigator throughout The Bachelor season 28. While Sydney was eliminated by Joey Graziadei during week 4 of the reality TV dating competition, she has received backlash throughout the season about the way she treated Bachelor Nation fan-favorite Maria Georgas. The pair had issues regarding the way Maria responded to Madina Alam about her insecurities.

“I wish you actually got to see me with Joey.”

While The Bachelor: Women Tell All hasn’t aired yet, Sydney has been responding to comments on her Instagram ahead of the reunion special that seemingly blame the show’s editing for her bad behavior. Responding to a comment, Sydney explained she wished the viewers would’ve seen more of her and Joey, and less of her outside drama.

“I wish you had focused more on Joey this season but I also realize the power of editing. Maybe see you again on tv,” @mspixiedust13 commented, to which Sydney replied, “I wish you actually got to see me with Joey.”

Sydney Gordon’s Bachelor Journey Explained

While Sydney’s Bachelor journey was short, her moments in the series were more focused on her experiences with the women in the cast than Joey himself. Introduced in The Bachelor season 28’s premiere, Sydney seemed like she was an eccentric but kind person who was excited to get to know Joey after seeing his journey on The Bachelorette season 20. Joey and Sydney seemed to get along well at the beginning of her time at the Bachelor mansion. She was safe in the first and second rose ceremonies and was excited to get to travel with Joey and the cast.

After beginning to feud with Maria when she felt like the Canadian was tearing down Madina about her insecurities surrounding her age, Sydney began to target Maria throughout her time on The Bachelor. Bringing information about Maria to Joey, some of which was false, it appeared that Sydney was more invested in talking trash about her fellow Bachelor season 28 castmates than getting to know Joey. When he invited her on a two-on-one date with Maria, the pair felt certain she would be the one getting the rose. Unfortunately, Joey felt stronger about Maria and eliminated Sydney during the date.

While Sydney’s relationship with Joey wasn’t explored in depth on the seriesThe Bachelor season 28 star has been the topic of conversation for the majority of the season. Her apparent treatment of the other women in the cast hasn’t been well-received by Bachelor Nation. Though viewers likely feel that they know everything they need to about Sydney’s time on the series, there are two sides to every story. Sydney may have more to say about her time on The Bachelor during the Women Tell All special than viewers realize.
