The work never stops for Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. Even though it’s the offseason, Tomlin continues to gather info and do research on potential 2024 NFL Draft targets. Just take for example his recent trip to Alabama for the Senior Bowl, where he got a closer look at some of the players.

Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy even went as far as saying that Tomlin’s presence in such events is a major reason why the Steelers have always been a desired destination by prospects.Ezoic
Nobody gets more out of @seniorbowl than Mike Tomlin. I think every player leaves Mobile wanting to be a Steeler.
The Pittsburgh Steelers hold the No. 20 pick at the draft. Although that’s not a high pick, they should still have plenty of options to choose from. They still need to make the best decision they can in order to prevent that pick from eventually becoming a waste.
The Steelers could use that pick on a quarterback amid rumors of Justin Fields potentially getting traded to Pittsburgh. But perhaps what’s more realistic is that the Steelers will draft an asset for their offensive line or their defense. Offensive tackle Amarius Mims from Georgia and center Jackson Powers-Johnson from Oregon are two offensive linemen being pegged as first-round targets for Pittsburgh.Ezoic

The Pittsburgh Steelers made it to the playoffs in the 2023 NFL season with a 10-7 record but failed to advance past the wild-card round. If they could land one game-changing piece at the NFL Draft, someone who would be able to contribute at a high level right away, the Steelers could take a big step forward in 2024.
