The Bachelor Season 28: Signs Daisy Kent Will Be The Next Bachelorette (SPOILERS)

The Bachelor season 28 is in full swing, and 28-year-old tennis professional Joey Graziadei was introduced to 32 single women, including Daisy Kent, who’s in the running to be the next Bachelorette. The season started by reintroducing Joey to viewers, the runner-up from The Bachelorette season 20. Though he wasn’t able to win Charity Lawson’s heart, losing out to Dotun Olubeko, Joey has been given this second chance at finding true love on national television.

The cast of The Bachelor season 28 is historic in that it features 32 single women, the most women of any of the previous seasons of the long-running series. Among the hopeful women vying for Joey’s heart is Daisy, a soft-spoken 25-year-old account executive from Becker, Minnesota, who’s currently living in San Diego. Though she is one of the front-runners, Daisy would also make an excellent lead for the next season of The Bachelorette.

Daisy Has A Heartfelt Backstory

Daisy’s Cochlear Implant

Daisy suffers from hearing loss, which could potentially have been caused by a tick bite that led to Lyme disease. This possibly caused a disorder of the inner ear known as Meniere’s disease. Daisy discovered that she was losing her hearing when she was 15 years old and couldn’t hear her father waking her up for school one morning. She started to hear high-pitched ringing and struggled to understand speech. Daisy was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease at 17 years old and Lyme disease at 21. She initially tried a hearing aid but couldn’t properly hear conversations, so she got a cochlear implant.

In 2021, Daisyfounded Hear Your Heart, a nonprofit organization that helps support children who have autoimmune disorders or hearing loss. Daisy began documenting her experience and continues to work to reach other people with hearing difficulties. Hear Your Heart gives children medical assistance and funds for future education, and they bring awareness to mental health for children and their families.

Daisy Seems Like One Of The Most Genuine Cast Members

Daisy Is Vulnerable And Open To Love

One of the reasons Daisy is a front-runner in the competition for Joey’s heart and for being cast as The Bachelorette is that she reads as authentic. Daisy is clearly vulnerable and open with Joey about her disability, even asking if he’d like to touch her cochlear implant. Daisy is obviously on the show for the right reason, which is to find true love, and it shows. During a recent episode, she was even unwilling to tell Joey she loved him just to get a rose.

According to her ABC bio, Daisy’s parents, who have been together for over 30 years, are her idea of a happy marriage. It also says that reads that Daisy is ready to find love and that she comes from a big, loving family. She enjoys singing in her car at the top of her lungs, loves ice cream, and dreams of becoming a bestselling author. With her children’s book Daisy Doo All The Sounds She Knew available on Amazon, she’s on the right path.

Daisy Is Well-Liked By Her Fellow Castmates

Unlike some of the other women from The Bachelor season 28, like Leah Cayanan and Sydney Gordon and their jealousy drama with Maria Georgas, Daisy hasn’t been involved in any of the drama with the other women. She seems to get along with everyone and seems to be well-liked by everyone, including Joey. When the other women have gone at it during the season, Daisy has remained above the fray the entire time. If Daisy was The Bachelorette, there would likely be no drama during her season.

Daisy Is Age Appropriate

And Ready For Love

25-year-old Daisy is the perfect age for the 28-year-old Joey, but she’s also the perfect age to be The Bachelorette. Historically, leads of The Bachelorette have ranged in age. Clare Crawley, who was 39 at the time, made history as the oldest Bachelorette, while Hannah Brown was the youngest at 24 years old. Daisy falls right within that age range. According to her ABC bio,

” Daisy has been through a lot in life and is ready for a man that will truly put her first. She’s looking for a partner who is loyal, adventurous and family oriented, and will be there for her no matter what .”

Though she’s young, Daisy is ready for love as she is very mature for a 25 year old. Daisy had a storybook childhood, growing up on a Christmas tree farm, and now she hopes to find her fairy-tale ending.

Daisy & Joey May Not End Up Together

Was Reality Steve Wrong?

Way back in November 2023, the reality television spoiler account Reality Steve reported that Joey was engaged to Daisy. According to Reality Steve‘s post, Joey and Daisy reportedly “got engaged in Tulum, Mexico at the end of the season. Obviously, the finale won’t air until mid-March so who knows what can happen in the next four months. But this is how the season ended.” Since Reality Steve has gotten past predictions right, his The Bachelor season 28 reporting was assumed to be as good as gospel.

However, new information came to light when fan account @bachelornation.scoop dropped evidence suggesting that Kelsey Anderson is Joey’s winner, based on matching features in their Instagram Stories and TikToks, including a wine fridge, wall sockets, and a fence in the backyard. Though this came just one day after Reality Steve doubled down on his post about Daisy winning, he has since admitted that he got it wrong and is now firmly on the Kelsey train. As The Bachelor season 28 finale nears, this shows that any spoilers should be taken with a grain of salt, even from Reality Steve.

Now that Kelsey is likely the winner, it’s more than likely Daisy will be The Bachelorette. It’s possible that she could decline the offer, but she is the picture-perfect Bachelorette from her backstory to her beauty. If Daisy isn’t the next lead, its unclear who could make a better Bachelorette.
