The Golden Bachelorette Should Be One Of These Golden Bachelor Women, According To Jesse Palmer

The Golden Bachelorette premieres in Fall 2024, and host Jesse Palmer has some ideas about which Golden Bachelor contestants could be the show’s first-ever leading lady. The Golden Bachelor starred 72-year-old Gerry Turner, who was searching for the next great love of his life. Gerry got engaged to 70-year-old Theresa Nist, and they were married in a live, televised wedding on January 4, 2024. Now that ABC has officially announced The Golden Bachelorette, there is much speculation about who should take the lead.

In an interview with E! News, Jesse shared that he thinks that several of The Golden Bachelor contestants could be good leads for The Golden Bachelorette.

Jesse said that he thinks that it’s hard to decide, but he mentioned “the ASKN ladies” (April Kirkwood, Susan Noles, Kathy Swarts, and Nancy Hulkower). Jesse also chose runner-up Leslie Fhima and added that Joan Vassos “would be a great one.” Jesse added that some celebrities have also been named as possible leads, and Kathie Lee Gifford was mentioned.

Should Leslie Or Joan Be The Golden Bachelorette?

Both Leslie and Joan would be ideal leads for The Golden Bachelorette. Joan’s love story with Gerry was cut short when she selflessly left the show to return home to her daughter, who called her and said that she needed her back home after her pregnancy. She deserves another chance to find the next great love of her life. In addition, as the Golden Bachelor runner-up, Leslie has the classic story of coming so close to her happily ever after, and then being blindsided with a breakup. She also deserves a second chance to find love on her own season.

There has been so much speculation about who the first-ever star of The Golden Bachelorette will be, ever since the Golden Bachelor women first appeared on screens. The truth is that any of the 21 women whom Gerry didn’t choose would be perfect for the role. While all of his choices are fan favorites, Jesse didn’t mention other beloved contestants such as Faith Martin, Ellen Goltzer, Sandra Mason, Edith Aguirre, or Natascha Hardee, all of whom would bring their wonderful personalities to the show as well.

The Golden Bachelorette is one of the most-anticipated reality shows ever. After watching the Golden Bachelor women interact with Gerry, it’s apparent that they’re ready to find love. Viewers are already invested in them and their life stories, so it would make sense for ABC to choose one of them as the lead. The Golden Bachelor was a huge success for ABC, and The Golden Bachelorette is certain to be another hit.
