The Golden Bachelor’s Leslie Fhima may not have won Gerry Turner’s heart on the series, but she’s had the opportunity to meet some incredible people after the show, including this rap superstar. Leslie’s time on The Golden Bachelor season 1 was amazing to fans, who found the show to be a refreshing break from the drama of The Bachelor. During her time with Gerry, Leslie proved that being active and fun has nothing to do with age. Sharing her physical lifestyle with Gerry, Leslie revealed that though she was 65 years old, she’s more active than she’s ever been in her life, traveling and attending events like concerts regularly.
In an Instagram post, Leslie shared that she recently met world-renowned rapper 50 Cent at a Minnesota Timberwolves game. “Had fun hanging with our friend @50cent at the @timberwolves game this weekend,” Leslie shared, along with a few photos of herself and the rapper, along with her family.
“My grandson Yossi however was not impressed,” Leslie continued, sharing a few photos of her grandson, Yossi, and her daughter-in-law, Daphne, where the toddler appears to be crying when approached by the rapper. While Leslie’s grandson may not have been interested, she was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet 50 Cent.
Leslie Fhima’s Golden Bachelor Journey Explained
Leslie’s time on The Golden Bachelor made her incredibly endearing to fans who have been hoping to see her as The Golden Bachelorette in the future. While Leslie’s attitude and positive outlook seemed like a great match for Gerry, there was a part of their relationship that was ultimately missing. Leslie, who seemed certain she would be the last woman standing on The Golden Bachelor, took the breakup hard and found herself heartbroken after the show. Thankfully, in the months after her split with Gerry, she was able to get over the relationship enough to attend his live televised wedding to Theresa Nist along with her Golden Bachelor castmates.
While Leslie’s doing some incredibly fun things in her life after The Golden Bachelor, it appears that her life hasn’t changed much since her appearance on the series. While Leslie’s gained some public notoriety from appearing on the show, she was always someone who was jumping into social situations and meeting aspirational people. Leslie’s social media presence proves that she’s had some pretty interesting interactions with fame and fortune through the years, which makes it clear that she likely had too big of a personality for Gerry. Though losing The Golden Bachelor was difficult for her, Leslie’s moved on to bigger and brighter times.
With Leslie getting the opportunity to meet some of the most famous people in the world, she’s still a down to earth, grounded woman at the end of the day. Having been a part of The Golden Bachelor season 1 may have brought Leslie a bit of fame, but she’s been taking it in stride, as it’s something she was already familiar with. After an exciting meeting with 50 Cent, Leslie and her family are simply wondering what’s next for The Golden Bachelor’s breakout star.
