The most important offseason move for the Browns could already be staring them in the face

To be a successful franchise in the NFL you have to have consistency.

The most important offseason move for the Browns could already be staring them in the face

That is something that the Cleveland Browns are just now having for the first time since they returned to Northeast Ohio. Two playoff appearances in four seasons have been unheard of over the last couple of decades until this season for Cleveland.

At the head of that success is head coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry. The two are priorities for the Browns to get extended.

First reported by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Browns will be extending both of them in the coming months. We are talking about two individuals who have been interval in the success of the Browns. The five year deals for both end after the 2024 season.

Stefanski just captured his second Coach of the Year award in four seasons for the job that the Browns did in 2023. Voters agreed that winning 11 games with the pile-up of injuries that were obtained deserved an award.

Since the duo took over in Cleveland, the Browns have a record of 37-21 over four seasons. The worst season was a 7-10 2022 campaign where Deshaun Watson was suspended for 11 games.

Cleveland will have their fair share of offseason moves in free agency, the draft, and even the trade market. The most important ones of them all may be simply keeping their own at the top.
