Tom Sandoval ‘Really Proud’ of Ariana Madix’s Broadway Debut

While Ariana Madix keeps scoring win after win, Tom Sandoval … well, in truth, he hasn’t done so bad for himself either. Vanderpump Rules fans know that Tom profited a great deal thanks to Scandoval, even just from the name recognition.

All publicity is good publicity as they say, and having his name attached to the biggest scandal of 2023 opened all sorts of doors for Tom. For example, Tom went on to compete on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and even got a role in a Lifetime Movie Network thriller.

Still, Tom’s accomplishments aren’t quite on the same level as Ariana’s, at least in terms of sentiment. Ariana is out there fulfilling lifelong dreams while Tom is still making his way to that point. So, what has Tom thought of Ariana amid all of these accomplishments?

Tom reflects on Ariana’s success and showbiz, including her recent Broadway debut

In a recent interview with E! News, Tom spoke about his reaction to Ariana’s latest success on Broadway. “Honestly, thinking about it, it kind of brings me back,” he shared. “That was always her dream and I didn’t know if that was going to happen for her. I’d be really proud of her and would probably be emotional.”

Tom also spoke of his own acting pursuits, reflecting on his recent role in the upcoming Lifetime movie, Tall, Dark, and Dangerous. “I did move out to L.A., like most people, to pursue acting and music. I was doing movies early on in my L.A. time and then obviously Vanderpump Rules happened. That juggernaut completely shifted me into reality TV.”

He continued, “So, now it’s really cool to come back and do something like this. Film with a camera in my face when the stakes aren’t so high and my life isn’t crumbling.” As to whether he’d do more scripted shows, he said, “I’m not opposed to it.”

Tom added, “I really enjoyed it. It was great, it was the perfect time. It was great to put my energy into something like I did with Special Forces. Doing that was really nice to just focus on that.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
