Udonis Haslem Believes That Duncan Robinson Can Shoot The Basketball Better Than Kevin Durant

Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem has never shied away from making bold opinions. That includes his latest opinion, that Heat player Duncan Robinson is a better all-around shooter than the legendary Kevin Durant.

On the latest episode of his show, hosted with Mike Miller, Haslem made it clear just how much he believes in Robinson’s shooting ability.

“We ain’t saying scorers, we ain’t saying basketball players, the word upstairs says shooters, shooters. In a shooting competition, Duncan Robinson, yes, I think he’d beat KD.”

Udonis Haslem said on The OG Show
There is no denying that Robinson is a great shooter in the NBA today. However, this take could be influenced by some Heat bias. Haslem was teammates with Robinson for years before he retired from the league.

Robinson currently holds the Heat record for most three-pointers made in an individual season. As an undrafted free agent, he has made quite an impact on the team in recent years. Robinson is a great shooter in his own right. However, it feels unfair to compare him to an all-time great.

Durant is a player who can score the ball in a multitude of different ways. His mixture of both length and athleticism makes him one of the best players in the league today. Haslem is a big-time believer in the Heat, so it only makes sense for him to show extra love to a former teammate.

Robinson is much more of a three-point specialist, while Durant is more of a complete three-level scorer with the basketball in his hands. While Haslem’s take is subjective, it is an interesting discussion for basketball fans to speculate about.
