Summary

  • Vanderpump Rules season 11, episode 2, begins with accusations of Tom Sandoval using “psychological warfare” on ex Ariana Madix, causing tension in their shared living situation.
  • Ariana takes issue with Tom’s white noise machine, deeming it too loud and questioning if it’s a deliberate tactic to annoy her.
  • Ariana refuses Tom’s offer to book a hotel room for her during his birthday party, deeming it disrespectful, and she threatens to call the cops if he hosts the party at their house.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 just started, but Tom Sandoval is already being accused of using “psychological warfare” on his ex, Ariana Madix. The end of Vanderpump Rules season 10 captured the fallout from Scandoval, the earth-shattering reality TV affair between Tom and Raquel Leviss. The returning Vanderpump Rules cast members are now attempting to pick up the pieces from that mess as they return to Bravo. Unfortunately, the situation is even harder considering exes Tom and Ariana are still living under the same roof.

In a preview for Vanderpump Rules season 11, episode 2, courtesy of Bravo, Ariana questions whether Tom is using “psychological warfare” on her. They are getting on each other’s nerves, even though they don’t really seem to be talking to each other. They call their living situation “stupid” and “awkward.”

The biggest issue that’s annoying Ariana at the moment is Tom’s white noise machine. “When the Scandoval fever was at its pique, things I was saying were being overheard by Ariana and her friends,” so he bought something to help the situation. The noise from the machine, which Tom seemingly puts on the floor in the hallway outside his room, is way too loud for Ariana’s liking. “Is this some sort of psychological warfare?” she asks.

Ariana Madix Isn’t Afraid To Call The Cops On Tom

Elsewhere in the Vanderpump Rules preview clip, Tom is prepping for his birthday and plans to host a party at his and Ariana’s house. “Ariana’s obviously invited if she wants to come,” he says. After his assistant Ann Maddox says Ariana will likely be busy during that time, Tom offers to book a hotel room for her. When Ann brings up the suggestion to Ariana, the reply is blunt: “That’s not happening.” She thinks that the offer is “disrespectful and inappropriate.” Ariana demands that Tom’s party be held somewhere else. However, if he does host the party at their house, she’s not afraid to get law enforcement involved. “If there are people here making noise, I will call the cops,” she announces.

The reason why Ariana is afraid of what could happen if Tom has a party at their house is because she vividly remembers what his parties of yesteryear were like. As she explained, “There would be loud music playing, mess, disgusting everywhere, and it would be like three, four, five, sometimes six, in the morning.” She put up with it when they were a couple, but things have obviously changed as she adds, “Now that we’re not together, I’m not putting up with that s***.”

It’s unfortunate that Ann is being put in the middle of Ariana and Tom’s issues. She’s being forced to be the middleperson since the exes are not speaking to each other. As for the specific problems brought up in the preview clip, it makes sense that something as simple as a white noise machine is irking Ariana. As far as the party goes, it would be very interesting to see what would happen if Ariana did, in fact, call the police on Tom; she could pretend to be a neighbor calling in a noise complaint. It seems like the drama between these two will never end.

Vanderpump Rules is a reality-drama series created for Bravo that stars Lisa Vanderpump, a former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as she expands her restaurant empire and staff. The cast consists of Lisa’s staff members across her various establishments in West Hollywood as they try to build their futures and establish relationships that range from friendly to romantic. All of which frequently turn messy as mixing with business pleasure, as they are warned, doesn’t always end well.
