Warriors Injury Report: Stephen Curry To Avoid Travel Fatigue In Back-To-Back Road Games

Stephen Curry dropped a positive sign regarding his participation for tomorrow night’s game. The Golden State Warriors superstar was dragged into a fatigue conversation after a back-to-back underwhelming performance. The head coach, Steve Kerr, even sprinkled the idea of resting the 4x NBA Champ for a game or two to help him get back to form.

However, the idea wasn’t necessarily needed because Steph was on fire tonight, dropping 8 three-pointers. And, next up, the Warriors immediately have another road game against the Toronto Raptors. Keeping the travel in mind, the reporters asked if Steph would mind resting tomorrow. He dropped a hilarious response. Steph said, “I’m going to get a good night sleep, too. I don’t want to be tired.”

The Warriors have been living dangerously in the last few games. After producing a massive turnaround in February, winning 10 games, the the team found a sudden dip in their offense. The turnovers again started to plague the Dubs and Stephen Curry looked seemingly tired, running on the court. The loss against the Denver Nuggets came in as a wake up call for the Dubs.

The Bay Area side suffered their 7th straight loss against them. Curry had an off night, apart from a flurry in the third quarter with 14 points, he could drop only 6 points in the other three quarters. And, importantly, he dropped only one three-pointer. Following the game, Kerr said, “Steph has looked tired in the last few games… . Feeling a little fatigue… He will get it back. If we have to give him a game to help him, then we’ll do that.”

The star was expected to miss the following game against the Washington Wizards, but he went on to play in the absence of Andrew Wiggins.

The Warriors have two roads games left in their current stretch until they return to Chase center to face the Milwaukee Bucks.

Steph’s road ahead in the season
The Baby-faced Assassin took the fatigue conversation out of the picture with his performance tonight. However, the superstar needs to be at his personal best for his upcoming challenge. After the Dubs face the Raptors tomorrow, they go up against the arch rivals Boston Celtics at the TD Garden.

In this season, the Celtics have been almost unshakable at their home. So the Dub Nation would require Steph to lock in and keep the Warriors winning streak alive. Last time when the Celtics faced the Dubs at Chase Center, the Dubs put up brilliant clutch play to defeat the Celts.
