Who needs to silence critics more: Dak Prescott or Tua Tagovailoa?

‘I Keep Receipts!’ Tua Tagovailoa’s Miami Dolphins vs. Dak Prescott’s Dallas Cowboys: Who’ll Quiet Critics? FISH PODCAST

FRISCO – Strange thing about both the Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins, each team boasting a lofty record of 10-4 … and maybe this says something about us, or maybe it says something about them …

They’re growing tired of the critics.

In the case of the Cowboys, the counterattack is led by Micah Parsons, who is firing back at “fake analysts” … even though one aspect of Dallas’ failure – stopping the run – is inarguably worrisome following the NFC East leaders getting gashed in Buffalo last week.

“It’s sick!” said Micah … talking about the critics. (Although the Dallas run defense was pretty nauseating itself.)

In the case of the Dolphins? There is a similar theme that won’t go away, and it centers around “what life could be like without All-Pro receiver Tyreek Hill.”

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, an MVP candidate to many, has heard the pundits wondering how he’d perform without Hill, who missed last week’s Jets game and is now battling through a left ankle sprain as Miami prepares to play host to Dallas on Christmas Eve.

“I understand,” Tua said this week, “who I am in this league as a quarterback makes me, if you want, ‘polarizing.’ Whether I’m the best or the worst. I could care less. I don’t listen to it.”

Well, he “doesn’t listen.” But in the next breath Tua acknowledged, “At the end of the day I really don’t care. But I keep receipts.”

The Cowboys know that feeling. So … both teams have something to prove here …
