The Bachelor season 28 fans fell in love with Kelsey Anderson’s dad, Mark, during her hometown date, and want him to be the next Golden Bachelor, and she’s now revealing which Golden Bachelor season 1 women she thinks could be good matches for him. Throughout The Bachelor season 28, Kelsey praised her father for how he raised her and her four siblings after her mother, Denise, passed away due to breast cancer in 2018. When Kelsey brought Joey Graziadei home to meet Mark, speculation began that he could be the next star of The Golden Bachelor.

In an interview with Bachelor Nation, The Bachelor season 28’s Kelsey and Joey, who got engaged at the end of their season, discussed Mark possibly being The Golden Bachelor’s next leading man. Kelsey mentioned two Golden Bachelor women in particular who she thinks might be good matches for her dad. She said, “There are a lot of awesome women from The Golden Bachelor; all of those women were amazing and had such amazing stories. I think Joan [Vassos] and Leslie [Fhima] both seem like amazing women and could be good matches. It’s so hard to pick; they’re all great.”

Mark Should “Just Be Himself” On The Golden Bachelor
Kelsey and Joey had some advice for Mark if he becomes the next lead of The Golden Bachelor. Kelsey shared, “I told him just to be open to it. My dad is awesome, he has a great personality and is very kind, so he should just be himself and be open to the process.” Joey added that he would tell Mark to be himself, saying that Mark’s “presence in person is indescribable.” Joey shared that Mark is a very special person, and he felt it when he met him during Kelsey’s hometown date. He continued, “If he does choose to do it, I know he’ll do a great job.”

Mark would make an ideal Golden Bachelor lead. It would be exciting to see him star on the show and to have Joan and/or Leslie return to date him. It would also be fun to see Mark as a contestant on The Golden Bachelorette, especially if one of the Golden Bachelor women takes the lead of that show. It’s also possible that Mark could date Joan, Leslie, or any of the other women outside of the show, without the pressure of having their relationship develop in the public eye. Whatever happens, Kelsey is right that one of the Golden Bachelor women could be a good match for Mark.

Mark is an amazing person who’s been an incredibly supportive father to Kelsey and her siblings. He lost his wife in a tragic way, and he deserves to find love again if that’s what he wants. Joey was the best Bachelor in the history of the show, so he’d be the perfect person to give advice to Mark about how to handle being the Golden Bachelor lead. It would be wonderful to see Mark on screen again after his time in The Bachelor season 28 with Kelsey and Joey. Whatever Mark decides, Bachelor Nation will certainly be rooting for him.
