Brittany Cartwright Wants ‘Revenge Body’ Amid Jax Taylor Separation

The Valley stars Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s marital difficulties are playing out on television and in real-time. The couple tied the knot on Vanderpump Rules and later welcomed their son, Cruz.

Brittany decided to move out of her shared with home Jax earlier this year. Apparently, the couple argued over their drinking habits as well as the lack of intimacy in their marriage. “Jax can be really hard on me. He kind of puts me down a lot,” Brittany shared.

And while the duo hasn’t been talking about divorce, they just unfollowed each other on Instagram. So, that isn’t a great sign for the longevity of this union.

Brittany had her co-star Michelle Lally as her guest on her podcast When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany. “I’m over here praying I get that thing [when you’re] going through a lot of stress. Why am I not getting the skinny, can’t eat sh*t vibes?” Brittany asked.

Michelle, who filed for divorce from her husband, Jesse Lally, just before The Valley premiered, had an answer ready. “There are two types of women. [There are] the women that can’t stop eating because they’re stressed out,” she explained.

That rang true for Brittany. “That is what’s happening to me. Like, why can’t I be the other way?” she asked. Michelle urged Brittany to “force [her]self.” Yikes!

But Brittany had already started working out at the gym and following a Jenny Craig program. “If we have a [The Valley] reunion or whatever, I’m trying to get this revenge body on fleek. Hopefully, I’ll be a skinny, stressed girl soon,” Brittany stated.

And she is already thinking of expanding her family. She and Jax were trying for a sibling for Cruz before their marriage imploded. Since her marriage is in shambles, Brittany hasn’t ruled out a sperm donor. After all, Pump Rules co-star Lala Kent is pregnant with her second baby girl. She conceived via intrauterine insemination.

So, maybe Brittany needs to be open to all possibilities and choose what is best for herself and her son. And that includes accepting herself as she is – without a drastic weight loss.

The Valley continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
