The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member and her boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell, are closer than ever, as seen in this family photo.
Dolores Catania’s relationships have been in the spotlight since she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey in Season 7 and that includes her friendly relationship with her ex-husband, Frank Catania, and most recently her relationship with Paul “Paulie” Connell as they blend their families together after several years of dating.
When Dolores met boyfriend Paul at an Apple Store in 2021, things seemed different. For one, Paulie is an entrepreneur from Ireland, and not from her home state of New Jersey, which was a big change for Dolores. “It’s a very different relationship,” Dolores said during a Feb. 2022 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “We do a lot together.”
And they have continued to do so much with one another, like enjoy family dinners together. Dolores, who is a mom to two kids, Gabby and Frankie Catania, has that in common with Paulie, who is a dad of two boys. But the question remains — is Dolores close with Paulie’s sons?

Paulie is the dad to two boys and it appears that they are close with Dolores. Dolores spent Christmas with Paulie and his sons, and has been photographed with them multiple times. Their closeness was evidenced in the past week, when Paulie posted a photo of him, his boys, and Dolores, sitting down for dinner at a restaurant together. “Food times,” Paulie wrote over the photo.
Not only is Dolores close to Paulie’s kids, but he is just as close to hers. In May 2023 Dolores told BravoTV.com that she is living with Paulie, while keeping her recently renovated home, where her kids live.
“I can’t sell the house. It’s become a dog shelter,” she joked. “With my daughter and my son there, there [are] about seven dogs, and everybody’s living happily in the house that I’ve redone. So it’s here to stay.”

Viewers will get to see more of Dolores and Paulie’s relationship when RHONJ Season 14 premieres on Bravo on Sunday, May 5. Per a press release, people can expect to see this from the mom of two this season:
“Dolores has always been the peacemaker in this group of friends, but this year she’s at a crossroads in her relationship with her doting boyfriend, Paulie. As he finalizes his divorce, will Dolores be ready to get her happily ever after?”
