Love Island’s Jessie Wynter teases engagement to boyfriend Will – ‘I’d do it right now’

Love Island’s Jessie Wynter has confessed that she would get engaged to her boyfriend Will Young in a heartbeat. The 27 year old met the 25 year old farmer on last year’s series of Winter Love Island, where the pair’s relationship blossomed during their time in the South African villa.

Fast forward over a year, and Jessie, who is from Tasmania but lived in Sydney before Love Island has embraced her new life in the UK, after she decided to stay with Will on his Buckinghamshire farm following the show.

Now, with their relationship going from strength to strength, Jessie has admitted that the pair have even talked about getting hitched.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “We definitely do speak about marriage, and getting engaged and everything a lot. I think if we could, we would be engaged right now. We’d be having a wedding, but at the moment, like we’ve just got so many other things to navigate at the moment. So that’s not the top of my priorities.”

One of those things is her parents’ upcoming wedding, as Jessie revealed that they recently got engaged. She also shared that she’s helping to plan the big day, and joked to Will that he’ll be able to see her planning skills in action before their time comes.

Marriage isn’t the only major relationship step on the cards, though. Jessie gushed that she and Will are currently house hunting, and are looking to purchase their first home together away from the farm.

Jessie enthused that the couple are keen to try something new and experience something that neither one of them has before. She explained: “So after [Love Island] we spent a bit of time in Australia. Will bless him, he’s worked and lived on the farm his whole life. He went to Australia, and I showed him a bit of city life in Sydney, and he actually really liked it. So that’s kind of opened our eyes up too.”

Jessie continued, adding that the couple have considered locations such as London or Manchester so that Will can get to experience what city living is like. Plus, that now is the perfect time for them both to spread their wings as a couple.

“The way we see it is my home in the country in Tasmania is always gonna be there. Will’s home in the farm is always going to be there. So we’re thinking about both doing something out of our comfort zones and moving to a whole new city and kind of experiencing that all together,” she gushed.
